Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
Join Phoenix Group of Virginia, a premier government contractor at the forefront of supporting vital federal programs. We are actively seeking a Strategic Support Coordinator—a critical, high-visibility position that serves as the operational heartbeat of our program teams. In this multifaceted role, you will be the go-to expert for administrative coordination, project tracking, data management, and security compliance support.

This isn’t just a support role—it’s a launchpad into mission-driven program execution, where your organizational skills, analytical mindset, and proactive energy will directly influence the success of U.S. Navy and Department of Defense operations.

What You’ll Do:

Program and Administrative Leadership

  • Be the strategic right hand to our Program Manager—coordinating schedules, preparing briefings, and managing program communications.

  • Create polished reports, presentations, and correspondence for key government and contractor stakeholders.

  • Monitor and manage task deadlines, deliverables, and project milestones to keep initiatives on track.

Office and Operational Excellence

  • Keep our operations running smoothly—managing logistics, procurement, inventory, and executive travel.

  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding activities, ensuring full compliance with program and security procedures.

  • Maintain clean, audit-ready records in line with government and contract regulations.

Data and Performance Intelligence

  • Aggregate and organize data from multiple sources to drive informed decisions.

  • Deliver clear, actionable summary reports and dashboards for leadership and customer visibility.

  • Support performance metric tracking and compliance validation efforts.

Security and Compliance Collaboration

  • Assist the Security Manager with clearance documents, visit requests, and training records.

  • Ensure adherence to government security policies such as NISPOM, DFARS, and CUI handling.

  • Partner with FSOs and other security personnel to coordinate access control and security briefings.

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for federal contracting work)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)

  • 2–4 years of administrative, operational, or program support experience—preferably in a federal or DoD setting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); SharePoint or task management tools a plus

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred:

  • Active or eligible Secret Security Clearance

  • Familiarity with government contracting terminology, compliance, and reporting

  • Experience in security support or cleared facility operations
