Primary Functions:
The Power Platform Engineer develops low-code applications and workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform and adjacent tooling. In addition to development, the Power Platform Engineer owns and executes testing and validation for defined functional areas. This role is essential in balancing operational efficiency of custom app and automation development with deliverable quality.
Position Requirements:
· 1+ years of full-time work experience developing systems in Power Apps and Power Automate
· MUST be a US Citizen
· MUST be eligible for DoD Security Clearance (see National Security Guidelines for evaluation criteria)
Functional Responsibility:
· Develop, document, and maintain scalable, high-quality apps and automations
· Test apps and flows to ensure stability
· Collaborate with the Development team and stakeholders
· Adhere to industry best practices and standards
Additional Requirements:
· Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Demonstrated attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal skills and writing skills. Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical users
· Knowledgeable of information contained in Microsoft Power Platform courses (PL-200, PL-400, PL-7001, PL-7002)
Physical Requirements:
· Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Walking and standing are often necessary in carrying out job duties
· Visual acuity for viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; analyzing code
Complexity:
· Identifying cross-app or cross-flow impacts from changes
· Balancing user requirements with platform limitations
· Ensuring compliance with security, data governance, and organizational policies
· Anticipating and addressing potential automation conflicts or system dependencies
