Firm Profile
In 1997, Wiltex, Incorporated was founded to meet specialized educational needs in the areas of remedial education, job training, and career
counseling. The company has evolved beyond its initial focus to that of a solutions-oriented small business contractor specializing in the
development and delivery of technology, medical, and educational services to clients in both the public and private sectors. Operating under
founding principles of partnership, cost consciousness, and integrity, Wiltex offers an experienced team comprised of both full time and carefully
selected contract personnel chosen, after an exhaustive screening process, for their formal education and "hands on" professional
experience. The team includes talented educators, writers, editors, information technology experts, health care professionals, and executive
management professionals from related industries. In addition, Wiltex has developed a roster of specialized contractors available on an ad hoc
basis to supplement its core staff as needed.
The company’s founder and CEO, Lois S. Williams, Ph.D., is a career educator who is currently serving as a member of the Virginia Beach School
Board. During her career, she has served in various capacities including President, Dean of Instruction, administrator, and instructor at various
public and private four year colleges and universities. As a believer in education being a lifetime endeavor, Dr. Williams encourages team member
participation in continuing educational programs to ensure that their skills and knowledge remain state of the art. Attention to that philosophy
allows Wiltex to provide its clients with the best possible resources and results in the completion of assignments effectively in terms of both
cost and time.
